In 2006 we made the decision to start making our own wines, we saw that we had great potential in our vineyards to be able to make high-quality organic wines.

This is how Bodegas Gardel emerged, a family winery established in the Manchega land of Las Mesas (Cuenca), founded by a line of farmers and businessmen whose objective is to produce wines of the highest quality. We firmly believe that excellence is not a product of chance, and for this reason, we select the best plots and vineyards, convinced that the quality of the wine comes from choosing the best grapes. Our commitment is to promote the best of our heritage, integrating tradition and new technologies to create exceptional signature wines.

Since its inception, Bodegas Gardel has focused its efforts on the production of organic wines, respectful of the environment, and with the intention of transmitting the essence of nature to the palate of consumers. This objective was successfully achieved four years after its foundation, with the organic certification of all our vineyards.

Our ongoing commitment is to enhance the natural purity of our products, ensuring that each bottle comes from certified, authentically natural ingredients. Thus, Bodegas Gardel is a synonym of excellence, sustainability and quality in the wine world.

At Bodegas Gardel, our 100 hectares of organic vineyards combine tradition and innovation. We implement modern trellis planting systems and drip irrigation to ensure the vitality of our vineyards. At the same time, we preserve the ancestral techniques of goblet training to cultivate varieties such as AIREN, creating extensive leaf masses that protect the clusters from climatic adversities. This balance between modernity and tradition guarantees the quality of our wines, respecting the environment and the authenticity of our vines.

Our plantations are 10 km away from the winery, we have plantations with altitudes of 700m, arid, clayey and stony terrain.

Grape type:

White: Chardonay / Sauvignon Blanc / Verdejo / Muscatel / Macabeo / Airen

Reds: Tempranillo / Syrah / Garnacha and Petit Verdot

The climate is optimal for the development of these varieties.

At Bodegas Gardel, we harmonize the classic with the contemporary in our 100 hectares of organic vineyards. We integrate modern techniques such as trellis planting and drip irrigation to ensure the well-being of our vines. At the same time, we maintain traditional cup growing methods in varieties such as AIREN, generating dense leaf areas to protect the bunches from adverse weather conditions. This balance between the old and the new guarantees the excellence of our wines, honoring nature and the authenticity of our grapes.
